EVENTS
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2008
WORLD-WIDE
Several years ago, the United Nations declared September 21, 2008 as the International Day of Peace. Peacemakers around the world are planning celebrations that include poetry readings, speeches, peace gatherings, art festivals and worship services. I will be marking the day, which this year is a Sunday, by sharing my peace poems in worship and meditation services and on my blog. Plan now to celebrate in your own way: Let There Be Peace on Earth and Let It Begin With Me!
