Over the past thirty years, Anne has delighted thousands of audience members at conferences, literary events, community gatherings, fundraisers, schools, worship services, civic events, arts events, and peace celebrations. Her presentations include keynotes, speeches, storytelling, educational programs, poetry readings, literary workshops, political speeches, panel discussions, arts events, and emceeing.
In addition to community and literary audiences, Anne enjoys speaking to faith communities, especially on topics of interfaith relevance. She has been a guest speaker for discussions and worship at First United Methodist Church in Henderson, Texas, Perritte Methodist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas, Woodlands Christian Church in Longview, Texas, Thoreau Woods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Huntsville, Texas. Since 2003, Anne has been a frequent worship speaker at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Tyler, Texas, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Longview, Texas, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Lufkin, Texas.
Fees from Anne's presentations support her community efforts and peacework, including the Art of Peace (2011-2021) , the Texas Peace Summit (2019-2020), and OpenWords, sessions that connect literary, art, and social justice topics.
