PRESENTER - Young Audiences of Northeast Texas
Cultural arts organization with a mission of arts integration in area schools. Anne's programs include poetry readings, workshops and residencies.
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/LEAD JUDGE/EMCEE – Northeast Texas Poetry in Schools Contest
A school-based poetry competition for students in grades 1-12 in several counties. Begun nearly 50 years ago by the Rusk County Poetry Society, a chapter of PST, this contest is now a partnership between Young Audiences of Northeast Texas, Region 7 ESC, RCPS, and InSpiritry, along with community sponsors. Anne is a longtime director, judge and awards ceremony emcee.
COFOUNDER/EDITOR/PUBLISHER/EMCEE - Art of Peace Tyler Poetry Anthology
An annual international peace poetry collection, published by InSpiritry in celebration of the annual United Nations International Day of Peace and the local Art of Peace celebration, With annual themes, the chapbook anthology of peace poems is launched with an evening reading hosted by Anne.
COFOUNDER/CO-DIRECTOR - Texas Peace Summit
An annual program of notable speakers on progressive ideas who include civic leaders, scientists, professors and writers in Tyler, Texas.
SPONSOR - Local Poetry Events
Local and regional public poetry readings, slams, workshops, festivals and literary events hosted by poetry groups such as Poetry Society of Texas and Austin Poets International, university conferences and open mics led by those working bring diverse poetic voices and performance venues.
